The mission of the Tereza Maxová Foundation is to enable every child to experience a happy and safe childhood in a family environment and to give disadvantaged children a chance for a better life. The Foundation‘s main goals include preventing the unwanted removal of children from their family environment, especially due to poverty, and supporting all forms of foster family care. In the field of institutional care, the Foundation supports children‘s education and skills development, giving them a better chance of a productive and fulfilled life after leaving the orphanage.

The Adoption and Foster Care Centre, the association, was registered with the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic on 12 September 1994 under number II/s-OS/1-25352/94-R, ID No.: 60457937.

Its goal is to enable every child to live and grow up in a family. We strive to make family care for children at risk prevail over institutional care and to develop and change the system of care for children at risk in our country.
